The mounting position for the ideal width between the lights often does not coincide with the optimal wiring position. The surface-mount spacer increases flexibility when mounting APELO underwater lights. Instead of drilling holes in the transom, the cable can be routed through the side at a position above the water or at a point where internal access is much more favourable. The spacer has a 5-degree surface that allows you to precisely adjust the direction of the light: useful if you prefer the light to be directed to the side, or to prevent an obstacle, such as an outboard motor or trim tab, from blocking part of the light. This angle can also be used to compensate for a stern angle.
