FORTRESS ANCHORS

A name that's almost synonymous with holding power in boating circles: the Fortress is widely regarded as one of the best-performing lightweight anchors on the market, backed by a lifetime warranty. Its real party trick is that it disassembles flat for compact stowage, while staying light enough for a single crew member to handle. Only on Fortress can the flukes be adjusted from the standard 32° angle to 45°, boosting holding power in soft mud bottoms by as much as 400% - a big advantage for anyone who anchors often in estuaries, lagoons or muddy bays.
