PRE-INSULATED LAMELLAR TERMINAL

The pre-insulated blade (spade/faston) terminal, for a quick push-fit connection with no screwing needed: the male version is crimped onto the cable, while the female version plugs onto the matching male tab already fitted on the component being connected (a switch or a motor, for example). the colour follows the universal standard for pre-insulated terminals: red for 0.5-1.5 mm² cables, blue for 1.5-2.5 mm², yellow for 4-6 mm², so you can spot the right size at a glance. A fully-insulated female version (no exposed metal at all), a two-way piggy-back version for connecting two cables at the same point, and a heat-shrink version for extra watertight sealing in spots exposed to water are also available.
