The Epix is Jobe's inflatable e-foil, built for anyone who wants to glide across the water almost silently, without the noise or fuel burn of a motorboat. The 4000 W Waydoo motor pushes it up to 36 km/h, and the 1800 Wh battery delivers up to 90 minutes of runtime with just 3.5 hours to fully recharge: enough for a long session without planning the day around a power outlet.
The idea behind it is a dual-board concept: a rigid hardboard core forms the load-bearing structure, while two interchangeable inflatable outer boards change the board's character depending on who's riding. The 115 L board is more stable and suited to beginners, the 80 L one more responsive for experienced riders. The inflatable outer layer also makes the board softer and safer to the touch, while simplifying transport and storage: the whole set packs into two bags.
The complete set includes mast, battery, propulsion unit, G1500 front wing, 320 gliding tail, remote control, pump, charger, the hardboard core and the two interchangeable inflatable outer boards.
