The snap hook with eye, in AISI 316 (A4) stainless steel, the grade most resistant to marine corrosion: available individually for occasional use on board, or in a box of 10 for boatyards, installers or resellers with larger volume needs, at a more economical price. The spring-loaded gate opens with a simple thumb push, for a quicker connection than the symmetrical carabiner's screw-gate: handy when you need to clip something on with one hand.
