The S3 boxed evaporator with quick-connect fittings is built for compartments with a freezer cell, where the compact, cassette-like shape fits more easily than a flat plate. It's flexible to install, either horizontally or vertically depending on available space, and the quick fittings connect the circuit to the cooling unit with no brazing required.
