UPRIGHT SINGLE BLOCK WITH FAIRLEAD

The Barton block with a single sheave is built so that with a vertical eye, oriented for a pull coming from above or below rather than from the side; the fixed eye doesn't rotate, the right choice when the pull direction never changes. Fitted with a becket at the base, useful for securing the line's end or for building a purchase with a greater mechanical ratio.
