The Barton Ratchet block controls part of the load acting on the sheet, allowing it to be trimmed and eased with great ease, control and speed: the sheave rotates in the direction of the desired adjustment, so high-load sheets can be handled without hauling against friction.
Hard anodized aluminium sheave, Ø55mm, with 12 titanium-silver faces that grip the sheet perfectly. Ideal for mainsheet, jib sheet and spinnaker sheet control systems. The ratchet is easily switched off with an ON/OFF lever, to let the line run free when the ratchet isn't needed.
