The Barton 'K' cam cleat Maxi, in kevlar/Zytel composite, outperforms carbon fibre for lightness and wear resistance. The base carries a wear-resistant stainless steel bar, while the cams use stainless steel leaf springs, stronger and longer-lasting than conventional wire springs.
