RETRACTABLE THRUSTERS BTQR 185-65

The Quick BTQR retractable thruster is designed for high-performance sail and motor yachts, where even the small extra hydrodynamic drag of a fixed tunnel affects speed: at rest it retracts inside the hull, sitting flush with the hull instead of staying exposed in a tunnel.

The counter-flange, in composite, aluminium or steel, is separate from the system's load-bearing structure, which makes installation simpler, safer and compliant with current regulations. The motor stays fixed to the structure inside the keel, with a single moving part crossing the inside-outside barrier, protected against mechanical overload from accidental impacts: a design built for safety as much as for performance. Nibral and AISI 316 stainless steel materials for both the engineered and commercial parts, high galvanic protection with sacrificial anodes, compact footprint and integrated electronics.

Suited to boats from 8 a 12 metres.
