MASTERVOLT AGM BATTERY

The Mastervolt AGM battery 12/55Ah: the electrolyte (a mix of water and sulphuric acid) is largely absorbed into fibreglass mats, so the battery is maintenance-free and normally produces no gas, meaning it can be located anywhere on board. This construction lets it discharge rapidly, making it suitable for systems that need high current peaks, such as engine starting. The low internal resistance of AGM technology also ensures fast recharging, while thicker plates extend service life. It's a perfect replacement for a flooded lead-acid battery and can be connected to any standard battery terminal.
