Art. 5608507

Ocean Signal's EPIRB3 is a 406MHz global distress beacon equipped with a hand release bracket. The EPIRB3 comes with a host of features in a modern, compact design, including AIS technology that provides local rescuers with accurate and reliable information on the location of the person in distress, thus speeding up rescue efforts. In addition, the Return Link Service (RLS) provides EPIRB activators with confirmation that their distress message has been received. The Near Field Communication (NFC) function allows a smartphone application to be used to monitor the EPIRB's battery and other functions to ensure its proper functioning.
Compliant with IMO RESOLUTION MSC.471(101) and GMDSS
