GENIUS GP2 1500-2000

The Quick Genius GP2 1500 is the 500W-motor version in the GP2 range, designed for boats from 6 to 10 metres that want a strong pull (900 kg) while still keeping a compact-mount windlass. The epicyclic gearbox makes more efficient use of the motor's power than a conventional gearbox, a direct benefit to power draw during repeated anchoring manoeuvres.

Hard-oxide anodized aluminium body, resistant to salt-air corrosion, with rope and chain managed on the same gypsy to simplify the operation. The manual free-fall system pays out the chain quickly when needed, while the rope tensioner keeps the correct tension throughout retrieval.

With a 25.5 m/min retrieval speed and a 10.2 kg weight, it's the right choice when the MiniGenius's power is no longer enough but a larger vertical windlass still isn't needed.
