The Quick Totem capstan has a base and drum in chromed bronze with a sealed vertical motor and epicyclic gearbox. This isn't an anchor windlass but a capstan: built for mooring manoeuvres, hauling lines and towing, not for raising the anchor, even though Quick lists it in the same broad windlass category.
Suited to boats from 11 to 18 metres, deck thickness 20-40 mm.
